John Jordan – CPGworks EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK

John Jordan has been selected as the CPGworks EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK. The selection criteria, while not rigorous or rigid, does include certain factors such as reliability, consistency of productivity, responsibility and a clear demonstration of a high work-ethic. John met all of those criteria with flying colors.

John originally responded to an ad that we placed for a job-site that was starting up in Butler PA, as requested by the company. He was sent for the interview and hired on the next morning. These photos give some insight into the work that John was involved with at this site. The lead foreman for American DND (Demolition and Nuclear Decommissioning Inc) had these words to say about John’s performance on the job site as a torch burner, where they were removing substantial amounts of underground piping and cutting them into scrapable lengths:

John Jordan has been a burner and laborer for the demolition of over 75,000'of pipe, some building demolition and a handful of tanks taken out of service. John has shown an always busy work ethic. When the work is done for a task he always is picking up and housekeeping the site. This project allowed John some seat-time in a Terex 140 excavator equipped with a shear for processing steel. After some onsite training he is on his way to becoming an all-around worker. I will be first in line to keep him on the payroll on the next job I get to. Thanks Todd Giolando - American DND

For the record, 75,000 feet of pipe is equivalent to over 14 miles of piping that they removed in a period of about 6 weeks.
